Dr. Burke is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with spine and brain conditions. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of degenerative spine disease, complex spinal disorders, spinal trauma, and selected cranial conditions. His approach emphasizes careful diagnosis, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Burke completed his neurosurgical residency and advanced fellowship training in spinal disorders at the University of Pittsburgh, one of the nation’s leading neurosurgical programs. He also earned a Ph.D. in neurophysiology, which informs his thoughtful, evidence-based approach to surgical decision-making. Whenever possible, he focuses on nonsurgical and minimally invasive options, recommending surgery only when it offers a clear benefit and improved quality of life.
