Dr. McClellan Teaches Webinar on Outpatient Surgery

Altoona, PA - University Orthopedics Center (UOC) is proud to announce Dr. Chris McClellan’s continual participation in the webinar education classes hosted by VuMedi. VuMedi is a video education platform for doctors to learn cutting edge techniques to optimize their surgical procedures. Held on June 22, 2016, Dr. McClellan taught over 400 physicians about enhanced recovery and outpatient surgery in total joints. Outpatient Total Joint Replacement is an innovative surgery that allows patients to undergo total joint replacement surgery at an outpatient surgical facility with recovery maintained in the patient’s own home versus overnight stays at hospitals. Dr. McClellan is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and has unique competencies in the area of Hip/Knee Replacement. He also specializes in general orthopedics and performs knee arthroscopy and injuries of the hip and knee. Dr. McClellan is accepting new patients at our Altoona (Station Medical Center), DuBois, and Bedford locations.
