I had injured my right knee on an airplane in October of 2020. I spent several months in pain, thinking it would get better on its own. When my knee started “locking” on during normal use, I knew I needed some professional help. A physical therapist friend recommended UOC so, I made a call and requested an appointment. I was paired up with Dr. Van Kleunen. What an amazing experience! From my very first visit to my final visit/release for this situation, I was VERY IMPRESSED AND PLEASED with my care, my pre-testing, my pre-operation care, my surgery, and my post-operative care! Dr. Van Kleunen took his time with me at each visit. I never felt rushed. He is a very caring and knowledgeable physician who helps you through such unexpected and painful times. The day I met with him to discuss my testing results, he informed me that surgery was necessary to care for my torn meniscus. I was told then that he would get my knee fixed ASAP. Dr. Van Kleunen then took out his personal cell phone said, “let me look at my schedule. How about NEXT WEDNESDAY in Tyrone?” I’m very thankful I was paired up with this physician and would highly recommend Dr. Van Kleunen and the entire AWESOME STAFF at UOC!!
