Conemaugh Nason Elects New Medical Staff President, UOC's Dr. Angela Rowe
Roaring Spring, PA (January 29, 2019) – Conemaugh Nason Medical Center’s medical staff recently elected Angela Rowe, DO, FAOAO as its president. Dr. Rowe’s leadership responsibilities will include providing leadership and guidance to the medical staff and work as their liaison to the administration team.She will hold the position for two years. She most recently served as Vice President of the medical staff, 2017-18.

Dr. Rowe is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon offering surgical and non-surgical treatment options at University Orthopedics Center offices in Altoona and Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. She has been in practice for 20 years.
Dr. Rowe earned her medical degree orthopedic residency at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove, Illinois. In May 2018 she earned her Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in health care management from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She graduated top of her class and plans on using this in her new leadership role at Nason.
She recently completed her leadership role as the first woman president of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Rowe is also active on the Board of Directors of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. She is the Chief Medical Officer at the Advanced Center for Surgery in Altoona, Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of Directors. Pennsylvania Medical Society, and American Osteopathic Association.
Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is located at 105 Nason Drive, Roaring Spring, and serves the suburban and rural areas of Blair, Bedford, and Huntingdon counties.
