Background

Dr. Antholz is a fellowship-trained adult hip and knee reconstruction surgeon who specializes in lower extremity reconstruction with the goal of restoring motion to those affected by injury and joint degeneration. His training and experience include unique competencies in primary total hip and knee replacement, complex primary and revision surgery, partial knee replacement, sports injuries and joint preservation of the knee. He also sees patients in general orthopedics.

Dr. Antholz is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, American Osteopathic Association, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Antholz lives in State College, PA. He enjoys historical documentaries, traveling, fishing and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle including running, hiking, mountain biking and swimming.
