ALTOONA, PA—University Orthopedics Center (UOC) is pleased to announce that Dr. William Andrew Tyndall was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons on February 14, 2007, during ceremonies at the Academy’s 74^th Annual Meeting in San Diego. 

Dr. Tyndall was one of 694 new members inducted.  The Academy is the largest medical association for musculoskeletal specialists.   

Dr. Tyndall is board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.

With offices at University Orthopedics Center, located at 1505 9^th Avenue in the Station Medical Center, Dr. Tyndall specializes in Sports Medicine. His training and experience include unique competencies in the treatment of knee, shoulder, elbow, and sports injuries.
