
Dr. Rocco joined University Orthopedics Center (UOC) in January of 2005 and sees patients in need of orthopedic care at our Altoona location. He is a specialist in General Orthopedic Surgery. His training and experience include unique competencies in sports medicine, joint replacement, and hand surgery.
Upon receiving his undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Rocco received his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in 1997. From 1997-2001, Dr. Rocco served active duty in Misawa, Japan as a Major in the United States Air Force. He was in private practice in both Rhode Island and Maryland before joining UOC.
Dr. Rocco is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Rocco resides in Duncansville, PA with his wife Kari Ann and their two children. They enjoy traveling, sports, skiing, and boating.
